FCB By-pass system
The FCB By-pass system
Chlorides come from the raw materials and from alternative fuels. Sulphates mainly come from oil and petcoke. They can cause severe kiln blockages.
The FCB By-pass system efficiently extracts the chlorides and sulphates and allows a smooth kiln operation.
The FCB By-pass system has been used in many plants, for the extraction of 5% to 55% kiln fumes.
The FCB By-pass system widens the range of accepted raw materials and alternative fuels with a burning line kept stable.
By-pass dust conditioning
By-pass dust is often used in cement. When it is not, Fives offers a solution to prepare and pelletize it efficiently before discard, to facilitate handling and to avoid wind-swept pollution.
