Development of Services and new projects in Saudi Arabia

Since the implementation, two years ago, of its operational entity dedicated to customers’ services & technical assistance in the Middle East, Fives has demonstrated its strong presence in Saudi Arabia through extended services, mechanical inspections, audits and technical support.

From December 2020 to February 2021, Fives carried out five rotary kilns inspections, including alignment control in hot conditions, in Saudi Arabia. These inspections were fulfilled to the complete customers’ satisfaction, thus demonstrating Fives’ reliability as a partner of choice for the cement industry.

Despite the new challenges encountered in 2020 due to the pandemic, Fives was present at all times to carry out any interventions requested by its clients thanks to its local resources in the Gulf region.

Recently, Fives has been awarded a contract for a girth-gear refurbishment with its unique on-site machining solution FCB Nova-Gear® in Saudi Arabia too.
