China – Holding of the Sino-French Industrial Cooperation Forum in Chongqing
The Chinese delegation presented the economic and industrial operations conducted in China and promoted the development of the high-quality of the Chinese manufacturing industry, while the French delegation presented the latest industrial policies and innovation center of the French industry. Both delegations monitored the working groups’ progress. Xin Guobin pointed out that as much China as France are the proponents of this multilateral trade system. He also declared that both parties have to be the platform of the Sino-French industrial cooperation and to promote this cooperation to a higher level.
CNBM, represented by both Mr. Ma Mingliang, vice-president of China Building Materials Engineering Group and Mr. Wang Kedong, C.E.O’s assistant of Zhonglian Cement, and Fives represented by Didier Bourbon, Sales Vice-President (Asia) of Fives FCB, signed a cooperation agreement related to the Paris Agreement regarding climate change and modernization of CNBM’ installations. This agreement includes the supply of the FCB Horomill® grinding technology developed by Fives FCB for both CNBM’ overseas projects and domestic projects such as Zhonglian Cement and Southwest Cement projects. The FCB Horomill® technology considerably decreases the power consumption and CO2 emissions of the plant and allows for the production of a higher and steady cement quality. Thanks to this technology, the plant will operate in a fully automatic mode.
This Sino-French Industrial Cooperation Forum involved many authorities among which: MIIT, International Cooperation Department, Planning Department, Science & Technology Department, Department for energy conservation, Equipment Industry Department, Economic & Technical Cooperation Department, French Embassy in China, the French Industry of the Future Alliance, etc.
